Description
Simon Decarpentries, graduate of the University of Paris XI and the Ecole Centrale de Paris, began his career in 1985. In 1994, with the explosion of intranets and the advent of the Internet, he switched to systems engineering and became development project manager at Capgemini Innovation, where he participated in the development of the group's messaging and intranet systems. After setting up the French subsidiary of Citrix, he became Technical Director for Southern Europe. In 2002, he co-founded Itexis, specialized in application service quality management, the forerunner of RPA, and created the AppsLoad and AppsMon software suites, which received the first prize of the "Tremplin Entreprise du Sénat" in 2004. In 2008, Simon returned to Citrix as head of the France Server Virtualization BU, then became head of strategic partnerships in 2009. He joined NetApp France in 2012 and is currently in charge of innovation and strategic partnerships.
